Hardiness zones are derived from PRISM Group, Oregon State University data; this site is not the official USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map. Frost data are public-domain NOAA records. Some ZIP locations come from GeoNames under CC BY 4.0. Planting rules are facts cited from the publications listed on each page and on the methodology page; their text belongs to their publishers.
